We've always been partial to ASUS for quality and performance. Although sometimes the performance tweaks require a boatload of PC insights and knowledge to get maximum performance. This was the second desktop build using an ASUS MOBO, after the 2014 build went belly-up due to heavy use. Their products are high quality, and perform admirably for years... if perhaps sometimes being bleeding edge technologies. Overall, this MOBO coupled with a AMD Ryzen 9 5900x 12-core CPU with 32GB RAM is most certainly a significant improvement for much faster A/V editing and rendering, easily pushing the performance curve for these applications for a number of years to come. (B.T.W. B&H consistently sets the industry benchmark for stellar products, knowledgeable sales and customer service staff, blazingly fast deliveries, and competitive costs. It doesn't get much better than this short of FREE!)
