This thing is a mouse pad. First and foremost that is all it will ever be. Its a bit more expensive because full desktop style mouse pad. Adding lights to it too increases the price as well.
If all you're looking for is full desktop sized mouse pad look elsewhere because you can get one for cheaper. If you already have razer products and just want to add that extra bit of RGB to your desk setup then sure, why not buy this one.
It is really nothing special. Its a mousepad, its large, it lights up.
Overall though I would recommend, but only if you want to use the razer chroma RGB stuff. The build quality is pretty standard, doesn't feel like its gonna fall apart, doesn't feel thin, doesn't feel like its going to wear out fast. But its a mousepad. You don't need this, get it only if you really want it, because its nothing special. 5/5
