Easy + fast data backup & migration from iMac to Mac mini M2 Having recently purchased a new Apple 2023 Mac mini M2 w/ Thunderbolt 4 port availability, I wanted to make a new data backup of of my iMac 27" 5K Retina display Late 2015 model computer's fusion hard drive onto an external SSD. Having only HDD external drives for my iMac, I needed to purchase a 2 TB external SSD which could interface w/ both the older iMac USB ports and the newer 2023 Mac mini M2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. I'm not a 'techie' per se, so I had to do some reading of external SSD reviews on various tech sites to narrow down which external SSD might best address my current needs.
